UAE-India Business Council Launches 2026 Program to Strengthen UAE-India Partnership

The UAE-India Business Council has announced the launch of its 2026 program, reflecting the depth of the strategic partnership between the UAE and India and building on the momentum achieved over the past year in bilateral economic and investment cooperation.

The program is based on a clear roadmap structured around three main pillars: knowledge building, strategic facilitation, and direct engagement.

It includes the development of applied research papers focusing on key areas such as artificial intelligence integration with infrastructure, the role of sovereign wealth funds, consumer behavior, and supply chains, alongside joint projects across the African continent.

In 2025, the council organized the first edition of the “India and the UAE: Partners in Progress” conference, bringing together policymakers, investors, and business leaders.

This was complemented by a closed strategic meeting in Dubai with India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, strengthening policy alignment and shared economic priorities between the UAE and India.

The council has also made tangible progress on the UAE-India Friendship Hospital project, while advancing social and educational initiatives such as the “School of Dreams” project in Kashmir, aimed at expanding access to education and skills development.

Through a series of bilateral dialogues and trade missions, the council is supporting cooperation in priority sectors including advanced manufacturing, clean energy, fintech, and healthcare innovation, contributing to the goal of raising bilateral trade and investment volumes between the UAE and India to $200 billion.

As part of its forward-looking agenda, the council will contribute its expertise to the World Government Summit 2026, reinforcing its role as a bridge between political vision and economic execution and supporting a renewed strategic partnership between the two nations.
